For class on Monday, March 24

Here are the items that need to be finished for class on next Monday, March 24. 

If you were not in class, please stop by my classroom and pick up the study guide the The Witch of Blackbird Pond Chapters 1-8 along with the notes from March 17.

Please drop off your mid-term projects ASAP.


1. Read Chapters 1-8 in The Witch of Blackbird Pond and do the study guide.

2. Read Chapter 9 and respond to the blog questions on contemporary realistic fiction in the blog post below...and don't forget Chapter 8!

3. Do a genre study form sheet for contemporary realistic fiction and be ready to present in class. (You can still hand in your modern fantasy/science fiction genre book form.)

4. Select a theme for your final project! (See syllabus with questions.)

5. Go to Edmodo...make comments on the uploaded "book reading videos"....two compliments and one thing to work on. (Done in class on Monday)

6. Create your own "book reading video" and upload to Edmodo...Create a note and upload video from a device or attach a file...google it if you aren't sure how to do this. You can use Photo Booth on your Mac. (We did this in class on Monday.) Pay attention to expression and character voices.
