1. Respond to the following questions in the blog posts for Chapters 3&4 along with an article reading assignment.
2. Read Chapters 1-10 in The Tiger Rising and be prepared to discuss in a literature discussion:
- author's purpose and main ideas
- connections that you made while reading to other text or to your personal experiences
- story structure elements such as: characters, setting, problem/solution
3. Log on to Edmodo and do the poll and the quiz for the video of Teachings of Jon (posted in an earlier blog.)
4. Do a genre book-study for picture books and be ready to present in class. (See video of a model in earlier post.)
